Meet Our Experienced Team!

The Crew That Powers the Vision

At Drugs Free Society Nepal, our team shares a strong commitment to building a healthier, drug-free future for our communities. We are passionate, dedicated, and united by a common purpose: to inspire change and support those on the journey to recovery.

Moreover, we are more than just an organization—we are a family. Every team member is a recovered individual who has personally experienced addiction, found healing, and now devotes their life to helping others find freedom and hope.

Sonam Tshreing Sherpa

Chairman

I was once lost in substance abuse. I know what it means to hit rock bottom, to feel hopeless, and to believe that change is impossible. But recovery changed everything. Today, as Chairman of Drug Free Society Nepal, I stand as proof that transformation is possible. The mission now is clear: to help others find the strength to rise—because if it was possible for me, it’s possible for anyone.

Suman Thapa

Vice-Chairman

Drug Free Society Nepal was established with a clear purpose: to raise awareness, prevent substance abuse, and support those affected by it. Since its founding, the organization has worked closely with communities, youth, and local leaders. Together, they promote healthy lifestyles and build a safer, drug-free Nepal through education, outreach, and rehabilitation programs.

Roshon Maharjan

Druva Bahadur Thapa

I believe substance abuse harms not only the individual but also their family and society. Therefore, my goal is to help eradicate this issue and support a healthier future for everyone. As Treasurer, I manage the organization’s finances with care and transparency, ensuring every resource fuels our mission to bring hope and recovery.
